Frequently asked questions

Is Flowix really free?

Yes. The local Markdown app is free and open source under the MIT License. You only pay if you want optional cloud storage to sync notes across devices.

What counts toward my storage limit?

Only notes you choose to sync to the cloud count toward your plan. Notes kept locally do not count, and you can freely mix local-only and synced notebooks.

Can I use Flowix without an account?

Yes - the local app needs no account. A Flowix account is only required to subscribe to and use cloud storage.

Can I change or cancel my plan?

Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. See the Terms for details.

Is my data safe?

Your notes are yours. The local app stores files on your device; cloud-synced notes are stored on our servers only when you subscribe. AI requests go directly to the agent or model provider you configure.
